Thoughts invoked as image
Haunts primeval chants
Unfathomable depths
Never far from the surface
Decades pass into eons
Empathy towards freedom of spirituality
Runs riot
Blessed in the knowledge
Invoked long ago
Raised loftily on high
Determined for freedom

The Indians are a clever race, they built their Gods as birds and animals...makes one wonder who is the superior being
Glad you enjoyed this
-
wonderful
A wonderful line:
Never far from the surface
That really summed up the whole experience for me.
thanks,
John -
Lynne!
This is wonderful. I wouldn't have even known this was an acrostic if you hadn't told us. It flowed so well and you can't tell that you had any restrictions on the lines (the first letter having to be the first letter given). You did a wonderful job on this!!

The Totum there to be never dead, there for a reason and there to sit and think, while watching the new times pass. If only the one who made it could image its find.
Great write,

Whooppee..the gremlins have gone and it's in the right place now

Lol..superb comment. It also reached deep into my moss clad beliefs in faeries and banshee

short, but great.--((Bright Shadow))

This is very deep. I think the Indians had much more spiritual beliefs than we do now. They had beliefs in the animials as spirits.
Nice going. Great photo to go with it, background is much easier to read.
Cheryl
Cheers!!
I think it might look better if you left aligned it, so the letters for the acrostic ligned up.

Well.. I was searching the net for bird pictures when I came across this picture and beneath it was a poem by William wordsworth. It spoke of the nature of the birds and the totum signifies freedom, and spirituality. This bird Totum once was a deity ...so all in all it both signified what I was searching for

interesting write... i especially liked the line, "decades pass into aeons" - it is somehow resonant with my inner polka-dot leprechaun...
