Steady hands now fall weak,
A heart once thumping with passion, now beats twice as fast,
Only this time, because of fear.
Crashing, Banging. Screaming until she falls silent.
More bruises form onto her skin, almost a collage.
Sinking deep down to her ego.
The calm voice of love starts to fade,
Slowly deepening into a much darker growl.
A voice promising forever, soon ripping those hopes to shreads.
Emerald green eyes no longer shine with brightness from the sun.
Now a salty stream forms below them
Hands once held, now hold a tight grasp around her neck.
Soon broken just like her heart,
her crimson spirit spills across the floor.
Red, like the color of romance, now paints walls.
In the very room of their first kiss.
