She left it until the end

He lay there, motionless, and her tears began to run
She lays her head on his chest
And wonders if it was something she had done!
The blood is seeping out, and she is whishing it would stop
He lie there dying, and her tears continue to drop
He’s getting much colder and taking his last breath
She can’t believe he is gone, and that she just witnessed his death!
She wishes she could have stopped him from dying
Coz there was something she wanted to say
She had put it off for as long as she could remember
And now realizes its too late, that it doesn’t matter anymore
But she still bends over
And whispers to him those words
The 3breath taking words
That make everything seem right
Maybe if she’d said them before
He might still be alive!
She says to him
‘ I love you’
She pauses, as if to wait for him to say
‘ I love you too’
But she knows he wont, its way too late
For he has left this world full of hate
Now she wonders,
‘ Why didn’t she say it before?’
