Factory Farm

Blank eyes stare beneath

Where a thin red line drips down,

Coagulating

Author notes

See PETA.org for a "Meet Your Meat" viewing. You'd be surprised about what goes on at factory farms (where, if you live in America, the majority of your meat comes from).

I have two Arabian mares .. I don't like this. Injuries happen; I prefer them to happen to things not so helpless although my mares can do a pretty good bit of damage if called upon.

    Good

Nailed! You said it all. But I find your poetry disturbing. Good, but disturbing. I read several of your Haiku, I am not that familiar with it but you certainly paint a picture with few words.

short and sweet with punching imagery. I like how direct it is yet strangely subtle ( maybe to me! )
