If only

If I was given just one wish,
I'd wish my Poppa back to life.
Id banish the graying pain,
And revive the joyful glee.

If I was given all the time in the world,
I'd go back to the shagadelic 70’s.
To summer lovin’ and pot smoking rings.

If I was given almighty powers,
I'd die and come back as a butterfly.
To live my life as an ugly log,
Then to break free to a lovely fog.

If I was given all the money in the world,
I would buy world peace.
I would feed and shelter the needy,
And adopt the familess children.

If I was given once chance,
To say one thing in my dying moment,
I would say I was sorry,
Sorry for all the pain and hunger I had caused.

And if I had this last moment,
To share with you,
I would give you my heart
In a wink of time.

If only is forever,
And it is for eternity,
My love to you.
