I Already Know

You're not gonna tell me
But I already know
The thing you keep hidden
Yeah, the one you won't show.

You can't keep secrets
Because I'll always find out
I'm not gonna tell you
So don't ask how.

I'll never be mad
But I admit I don't understand
No matter what though
I'll always be your friend

I'm sorry you're afraid
to tell me whats going on
I feel like I've failed you
Because I've known you for so long.

I hope you forgive me
for making you feel
You can't show me
The side of you thats real.

Author notes

I found something out about one of my best friends. And, she still hasn't told me about it but I know. (she doesn't know I know) *sigh* I'm kind of disappointed that she wouldn't talk to me about it. No you can't know how I found out.

Since "WE" don't know what you found out, its hard to guess why she hasn't told you. It may be because she is afraid it will change your friendship, how you see her, or maybe she is ashamed? The real question is this? Why, if she is your friend? why haven't you tried to talk to her? A true friend knows when to speak...and when to listen, when to give advise when to take it. Where are you in this?

yeah, sometimes i feel like i'm on the other side of that, and i feel bad but... ehh i don't know what i'm saying. but i think you put it into words very well. and i like the rhyming - a lot of rhyme sounds forced but this is good.
