Sickness like cancer

I screamed and i cried
you didn't answer
you sickness kills me
like cancer
I will find a cure
even if it means cutting you away
I wish to God
that i could make you pay
You just wanted a piece of something sacred
And when you got you
you left me for dead
so spare me the lies
You just made your last mistake
You won't haunt every breath i take
i will rip your dead fingers from around my heart
Even if it tears it apart
Because i will start over without thoughts of you
It just hurts hurts to know i let it lip through
because now i fight a bitterness I'm afraid i can't withstand
But I will because my heart demands
