Place to Belong

I fall deeply
Into the warmth and security
Of you're waiting arms
A family
Who loves me
And is always there
A mother who will be there when I'm afraid
A father who will stand strong before me
A sister who I can say anything to
A brother to stick up for me
Warmth
And acceptance
Glow.

Author notes

*grins* Yeah, well, I guess thats what everyone looks for, and so few people, including me, have. A mother who's sharp and naggy, and a father who gives in too fast, and a brother who is NEVER wanting to do anything with his sister... Ah well. Time to get over it and stop complaining.

    I never had that ideal family either, dear. But you know what? If we all had that perfect family, we wouldn't be the people we are today. I would never have met so many people that I have come to care for, and my poetry would not exist. I am thankful that everything that has happened has happened. You still have me and Fury, you know. You can talk to me anytime you need to. I'm always willing to help any way I can. The hardshipd in life continue to make us all stronger. If we had the perfect life, we would not know how to endure. Just keep that in mind and be thankful for what you have.

    Argh...There are such rare people able to have an ideal family that they love and parents who love them back. I don't have that ideal family but then again, if I did I would think life would be too easy. I need to live through a hard life to feel the sadness I desire. I just like feeling this way I guess. Anyways, I thought I would drop by and see one of your writes after reading the note you left behind on my author's page
    I'll be back to check some more out later on, good luck with the writing.

    Good poem.... well I can honestly say that my family is just that but some times it makes me wonder well great job at expressing how you feel u did a great job at it!
