Rigid Flaws of Every Man

Hearts beating faster counting breathless days
of hopes and dreams and endless thoughts of love
caressed by doubts of vengeful hate displays
a scar reformed by wicked thrusts above
the chambers clutching life- prevailing death.
Resisting pleads of catastrophic craves
impair visions of every vital breath.
Ooze deeper down the reckless limbs to save
the sense of touch, and taste the need: revenge.
Revenge for spite. Revenge required for bliss.
To strike one down until they cry and cringe-
despite the thoughts of lasting hope: dismiss.
Dismissed. Humans stand as humans still-
each craving sensations of blood from the kill.

Revenge is the weapon we hold by the blade. This is an awesome poem, full of mixed emotion, and full of pain and raw emotion, Like rage pulsing from your heart. Humanity is destructive.
