You're Messing Me Up

The distance between us
Is tearing me apart
We're close yet far away
I have a hole in my heart


When I see you
Inside I begin to cry
Because you threw us away
You didn't even try!


Everything seems intangible
My deepest fear set in
I lost the person I trusted
For, I lost my best friend.

Author notes

This is part of an old poem I found...and it wasn't complete and I had been dealing with the same thing (still). So I worked on it some more. It still needs something. So any ideas are great.
