It's my turn

The first time i saw you,
Through the glass window,
There you were, with your arm around your son,
Staring at me,while i was asleep,
Both of you,excited to see.

Suddenly,i was taken away in strange arms,
to this a lady in white,
Her face so pure, her heart so warm,
there i was placed in her arms,
It felt right,Thank you mom,

Then you came in,and held me,
Smiling...

Every night you'd hold me in your arms,
walk me beside the bed,
put me to sleep,then yesterday

You stayed up all night,
Just cause i was awake,
You would turn blue,
when you'd see me cry.

You gave me everything, more than you could,
You loved me even when i would not,

Today it's my turn,
To give you my all,
Today it's my turn,to stay up all night,
to put you to sleep.

Don't ever leave me,don't ever die,
For as long as i shall live,
You will breath by my side.

I love you,Papa

Your write moves me deeply I could taste the love for your dad and his love for you in your words. This is therefore such a beautiful dedication.
