Leading Me To God's Door

Missing image
Whenever I hear the name live4eternity,
it always brings a smile to my face,
his heart is full of such compassion,
wanting to save the whole human race.

He sings his songs of our sweet Lord ,
strumming his guitar in his hand,
singing "Do You Want To Meet Jesus",
singing "Baptize Me" sounded so grand.

His heart was touched by God's love,
he began sharing God's love with me,
this gentle young man held my hand,
he took me to Jesus so I could see.

God had a plan to bring us together,
in June we both joined allpoetry,
God trusted Jason to bring me home,
to live for eternity in God's family

Jason will always be dear to my heart,
he has become more then a friend to me,
it warns my heart to make him smile,
my dear friend poet live4eternity.

Absolutely lovely write, and I love to see your faith shining through so strongly. I like the rhyme scheme of every other line, it works well in this poem, and flows really well. Good strong write well done.

My dear sweet son. I am so happy I brought you two devoted Christian together. It warms my heart. It's like a mom seeing her two sons be best friends too. I love you Charles and you will never leave my heart and soul. Just as Jason won't. You two are so alike you should be brothers. And when I am gone to Heaven to wait for you you will still have each other to remember me and all we went through together. God Bless you Charles. I love you.

Dear Sandy, how great a tribute such as this for such a wonderful and deserving young man who is sold out for Christ. Of all the times we all talk on the phone, and sing on the phone, and preach on the phone, and pray on the phone, I am never bored, and I never want it to end. I can never get enough of it. For God is truly the one who is in the midst of all three of us and Jason's family!! They are such wonderful people and I do hope that I can have the opportunity to meet him when you get baptized. I will definitely keep a look out for that. But anyways, I know that Jason is gonna love this poem because it speaks everything about him. I can't wait till this Thursday when we get to have our next worship service!! I will be praying for you always mom and know that I love you very much!! Take care!! God Bless You!!

Mickie, Thank you so much for the wonderful and warm comment.Yes Jason was such a guiding force in my walk to find Jesus Christ, just as Charles is guiding me to be a stronger and better Christian. I thank God for blessing me with them and all the others in my life who continue to help me as I struggle in my faith. God bless you. Sandy

this is a sweet and lovely gesture to a friend. You couldnot give Jason a better, more meaningful tribute than to put how much he is appriciated into poetic words. A lovely piece. best wishes and s... ~genielassie~
