She was so young
On that simple day,
On that day she passed away.
It was her fight,
Her fight she had won-
Not in body, but in spirit.
She is in Heaven,
The Heaven for all children
For all children go to Heaven,
The Heaven for children.
She is happy,
Her Memory Goes On,
Forever and ever
This memory of hers.
So don't you worry,
She is in good hands,
She is cared for
her memory goes on.
It'll last for forever,
But only if you don't forget.
So, remember the happy times,
And remember her as she loved you
On that simple day,
On that day she passed away.
It was her fight,
Her fight she had won-
Not in body, but in spirit.
She is in Heaven,
The Heaven for all children
For all children go to Heaven,
The Heaven for children.
She is happy,
Her Memory Goes On,
Forever and ever
This memory of hers.
So don't you worry,
She is in good hands,
She is cared for
her memory goes on.
It'll last for forever,
But only if you don't forget.
So, remember the happy times,
And remember her as she loved you

This is very nice. Sorry for the child. You did a great job to keep her memory alive by writing this. Good luck in my contest thanks for entering. Melody

The only thing I disliked was the capitals on words that didn't need them.
Apart from that, a heartbreaking story and a very deep poem
Keep writing, I liked this a lot
All the best,
Pozo

to be honest, i really didn't know the child, but the story of a child having brain cancer beginning at the age of 8 struck me in a sad way.
-
Well, thank you. It means so much to me to get comments, as i am only 15 and i really haven't written tribute poetry yet, so this is my first true tribute poem.

Many will be able to relate to your poem. I know that I do. Coming up on the 1 yr anniversary of my mothers' passing, this brought tears to my eyes. I know that as she passed, I felt a ever so slight breeze and I knew it was her spirit, her soul floating past and on her way to heaven and the waiting arms of my father. You are a wonderful person to write such a poem for another. Blessed be.
