Loki

I am handsome, young and shy
I am sneaky, dark and sly.
I enjoy annoying others,
Enemies, friends or brothers!

Tricks and pranks are always fun,
I’ll be sure to “teach” you some!
I don’t feel a guilt or shame,
But I am never taking blame!

I am a wolf in sheep’s disguise
Fire is burning in my eyes
I will get you killed for fun
Because I and Loki are one!

Author notes

In most Norse myths, Loki is portrayed as a prankster and a trickster. His misadventures often involve creating great problems for the Norse gods and for the inhabitants of the other worlds. When things seemed at their very worse, Loki often provided the remedy to save the day. His loyalty was often torn between the giants and the gods of Asgard and in trying to please both, he often found himself in deep trouble. Because of his wit and his cunning and mischievous character, Loki earned the name "God of Mischief". He was also considered the "God of Fire".

    Excellent view on mischief and on Loki. You did a wonderful job rhyming with this. Good luck in the contest.

    Hahahaahahahaha this is great I love this alot. I can also relate to Loki *Evil smile* It's so fun to mess with other peoples heads. But well my personality isn't the point. This also flowed very smoothly I could almost hear that bit of mischeviousness coming out. Awsome write, and fun read. I hope to see more fun reads like this.

    I like this and can very much relate to Loki, and his mischevious ways. Indeed, I too choose to tweak the ways and means of those around me, just for the fun of it. Nicely done.
