Dear Lord there is a young man
Paul needs some help from you
Please go to Him this very day
And help Him feel brand new.
Heal his heart and heal his leg
Each needs to be blessed by you
He lives in sin each and everyday
And now he has cancer too.
He is the brother of someone I love
It is breaking his heart in two
To see his brother living in sin
And always turning his back on you
Go be with Paul and guide him
To your safe and loving arms
Show him the way to salvation
and away from the devils charms.
Lord rid his leg of his cancer
Through Your healing make it go away
Make his heart turn from his life of sin
My Dear Lord to you I now pray.

This is forPaul, brother of my best friend Charles whom I love dearly as a son. My heart and prayers go out to him for I know how troubled his heart is about his brothers situation. May God be with his brother and heal his heart and ming. I love you Charles, I willl pray for you and your family. God Bless you all.

Lovely thoughts for a friend's brother. I love poems that are also prayers. -
A prayer for my brother
is what I just read
It speaks of love from your heart
and not your head
It asks for God's healing hand
to touch him this day
And open his eyes to the beauty
that you send his way
You asked God to open his eyes
to the sin He is in
You asked God to take away his cancer
so a new life can begin
I can begin to thank you enough
for being so kind to me
And for showing your love for me
and for my family
Your prayers have been heard
and they are in God's hands
I just have to be patient and
keep praying for him to understand
God is the ruler of this nation
and He is almighty too
And He longs to have a personal
relationship, just with you
So keep on praying Sandy and
I will pray along too
And hoping that his heart will change
and his life will become anew.
Sandy, this was a very beautiful and very moving poem/prayer you have written here. I am very grateful and thankful for what you have said in this prayer. It really means a lot to me. I am so thankful to have someone like you in my life to pray for me and my family. My family is very special to me and I am glad that you see that and that you are on your knees in prayer as well

Oh Sandy...
This is something that I'm going through as well with a friend of mine. If you don't mind... I would like to use this poem as a prayer for my friend... Deanna. She is the same exact way as his young man is; only without the cancer. Her's is more of a self hatred problem. Thanks for sharing such a heartfelt poem. It is very touching. Charles and his family will certaily be in my prayers as well.
