Graced with a strong light,
when borne long ago,
She shared with it many,
in hope, spread this glow.
Through offspring and partner
of years in this light
A wave against her body,
stood, offered up a fight.
Strengths, showed her able,
to stride longer years.
Saw a caring family unity,
to help with some fears.
We now know, of this cycle,
which offered to us all
Where, able to give light,
then enjoy where it falls.
Memories to family,
enjoying from her time......
Deep from within her,
bright light, 'ever shines.

Darn, I somehow missed another of your poems...and you've been on my favorites list a long time..anyway....
I hope by now your Mum in law is much better. You've written a very loving and caring poem for her
It's so wonderful to have close family ties like this. So often it means the difference between happiness and unhappiness within a family group.
