No Bed Of Roses Cassie/Acrostic

Missing image
No bed of roses

Now the world is not perfect
Often it gets too much to cope.

But life is worth living you see
Even  when you are a teenager
Dying is not the answer to me.

Open your heart to the love around
Families are so  precious to have.

Reckon your Mum would be so sad
Okay, even I would shed my tears.
Such a delightful child you are to us;
Especially since I only just found you!
So come on Baby, live for us please!

Cassie, you are such a sweet girl
Always know I am here for you,
Show us that you can survive
See the sunsets, the stars above!
I love you and so does your Mom
Everlasting love we have just for you.

Author notes

No matter what you do or say Cassie, your Mom is going to love and support you unconditionally, always
Life is no bed of roses, it's the way we live it that counts.

OMG!!! Tears are streaming down my face right now!!! This is so wonderful and so true. You have such a huge heart and it really shows with this poem. Just to let you know that I am printing all these poems off and putting them in a book for Cassie to read when she is having a bad day. Good luck in the contest. Your AP Daughter
