Charles ever since you came into my life
you have set my soul on fire for Jesus
teaching me no matter what I may seek
Christ will always love and please us.
When I met you my life was not happy
my faith in God had lost it's passion
when you saw I was stumbling around
you set right out on God's mission.
You reached out your arms to me
then you took control of my situation
each day with your love and patience
God's love returned with determination.
God kept drawing us closer and closer
becoming so close we were mom and son
the bond became so strong between us
it will last till our time on Earth is done.
We will have forever to love one another
when you join me in our mansion in the sky
we shall walk throughout God's Kingdom.
for God will lift us to Heaven when we die.
Till that day I will love you with all my heart
I trust you with my life in your hands son
you can never imagine what you mean to me
you are there through the tears and the fun.
I know God blessed me with another son
because I needed a Christian close to me
I was alone and losing hope each day
for I was the only Christian in my family.
Charles I love you for so many reason
your compassion is beyond compare
you are kind, caring,fun and so sweet
you are honest trustworthy and you care.
The one reason why I love you so much
is the gentleness of your loving emotions
and your pure heart full of love for Jesus
and how your heart is full of true devotion.

I got emotional..as I read this. It is so beautifully penned. I really enjoyed Charles comment too. for both of you. God places people in our lifes..for encouragement and support. He blesses us with friends and family to help our journey remain straight forward for his mission.

i thought the rhyming was a little awkward in parts, it could use some editing but most poems can. Go through it a bit, and I'm sure you can make it perfect.

A love from God is one that's amazing
when we are together and unite our hearts
We gather to give thanks and keep Praising
knowing with Jesus we will never depart
So with Sandy as my mom in my heart
and her love that is overflowing
Ever since our friendship took a start
my love for her will always be showing
She is a dear friend, sold out to Christ
who is the joy of her days
She will Praise Him for the rest of her life
as He guides all of her ways
She sends the greatest hugs and the biggest smiles
that can stretch from ear to ear
She loves to talk and loves to walk for many miles
just to have me always near
Her tender heart is loving and compassionate
and her voice just sings for the Lord
She is very caring and very affectionate
and loves to read her Spiritual sword
So as she wrote this poem all about me
I want her to know one thing
That I hope her eyes will one day see
that to me, she is the biggest blessing
We talk forever each day on the phone
and I get to sing songs for her too
And when I hear her, we are not alone
for Jesus is always guiding us through
So as I read this poem today
it filled my heart wil love
And so as I get down and pray
