You say you love me,
You say you care.
But do you love me?
Do you care?
My reality seems to fade into my dreams,
And everything is never seen.
Wishing I was with you tonight,
For that special song or two,
Or maybe just to sweep me off into the reality of my everlasting dreams.
I am starting to doubt my love,
And fall into the deep, black hole.
Once I start to fall,
Your sweet touch rescues me from the everlasting journey to no where.
But then you’re never there,
And I fall deeper, and deeper as my love for you goes on.
How it pains me to go on,
But I love you with all my heart.
And to leave you would be like jumping off the world and never coming home.
Excuses don’t cut it,
Lies won’t get past me.
I just want to know the truth...
Do you love me for me?
