My Friend

This world stole my best friend
It wasn't fair to her
I tried my best
To be a good friend
And let her lean on me
We were close
She told me everything that happened to her
I tried to help her
But it wasn't something I could fix
So now she's gone
Lost somewhere in this world
This world with no mercy
