Fantasy World

I gaze off into the uncertain distance
Lost and alone, cold and shivering
My eyes glaze over and I begin to see
a world beneath where the sprites
dance and play

The snowflakes shimmer as they softly fall,
a silent hush overcomes me as I notice
the beautiful ones towering over me
in the shadows of their many existances
I am free

I look up at the sky through rose colored glasses
seeing the puffy clouds of my childhood
I play games forming the clouds with my mind
look to my right and grin at the little man
who watches me

He smiles sadly at my prone form
surrounded by red, beautiful flowers
radiating from my body like the sun
they slowly flow away from me as the man
lets me fly

I rise up into the sky look down at myself
grin and fly forward into this fantasy world
of shadows and blinding beauty.
Rising up my sight slowly fades
the after images burnt into forever.

Author notes

Eh, not very good i guess.. but i tried, and I don't really have time to edit it as I have to go to class.  I shall do it later.

I actually like this poem. You say it isn't very good, but I disagree. It has a dreamy vibe to it that I enjoy.
