Death

Death
One person after another
Funeral after funeral
Casket after casket

I'm tired of shedding tears
For loved ones who didn't deserve to go

When one dies, do you forget the last?
Or the one before that?

Does the fresh death of a friend
Overcome the sealed deal before them?

So when they die
Do you wish you would have thought of them more
Like you think of them now?

Every thing you see reminds you of that dead person
The person that you can not tell your love to

Yet you missed your chance when they were here

Don't let one death be important over another

Let every life lost be important forever

Author notes

Haven't wrote... in a very long time, this thought just crossed my mind today and decided to elaborate on it
Good?

This was well written, it makes the readers think and want to bring those loved ones closer to them just to say hey... I love you... did you know that? I think you did a very good job in relating that message to all of us who read this!
