Hi, this is Andy. I see you found my feminine entity. Scarlet, teachers deserve higher pay. We all do. What about the people who feed us. Without food we could not survive, and they are paid even less. Less skilled, sure, but who is actually more important. I would say, you are to you. Anyway, this is a lame point on my part. Cheer up and believe in your own importance.

Women do much or more of the work and still get less pay....
If you are in the majority. Why is that. Don't you value yourselves. It is not an issue of the value men place on you. It is your own self esteem.
This sounds exactly like what my husband would say. But listen to this and listen good. Women are the busiest of all humans. We try to do it all. If you are a teacher, you MUST do it all. You are teacher, nurse, mother, secretary, bookkeeper, planner, referee, people pleaser (to a point)and much more in a days work. That is just the days work only. Then I go home to my second job. The real mother of my real kids. Laundry to do, homework with them, soccer or whatever sport, dinner, housework and then is there is any time left, maybe some sleep. Oh yes, I am a wife too, so there are other things to please him that can be like work. (not always)
So in the summer, when I finally have time to think, I certainly don't want to think about school. But I am a teacher and supposed to have the most important job in the entire world, even above the president of the USA. But I am paid like a pauper, especially in my state.
The bottom line is this. There is no time to even think about other things. Self esteem? My word!!!! We have the steam of the engines of a locomotive.
Teachers are more disrespected by more people than I had ever imagined. Yet, no one would have our job. That should tell you something.
Teachers are to do it all and most of the time do. We do it because it is the right thing to do. Not because we are paid to do it.
My question is this? If teachers are professionals and so important, then why are they being "Left Behind" in the payroll department? Because most of us are women, people do not feel we deserve or need more money. HA Ha. I would dare someone to come and try to do my job w/o an education. Yes, it looks easy doesn't it? Everyone has been in school or played school, therefore, they know our job. -

What a teacher makes
Watch this video. Be proud. So long as you know what you're doing, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Yes. True mastery is not over others, but rather with helping others attain mastery as well. I love these short writes that so so much.

Prepare thyself to receive 300 points as this is a fabulous Pixiku poem and would have won Gold in my contest I just judged this a.m. -
It's is kind of a poetic quote. Call it a poem, and it seems that I am not quoting myself. Maybe. How did haikus start?
