Very very true my friend. It is sad, is it not, that things have to come to an end eventually. Even those things that we wish could last forever are here for only a short while. Memories are the Recorders of Time. They are the remnants of what is left of what once was here. Your piece holds a depth to it that is very beautiful.

wow, I really liked this poem. It flowed well, and the comparisons and imagery you used are great. It is so unreal how quickly time can pass and memories become a faded shadow of what they once were.
I especially liked these lines:

Ahhh... how very true. I think the word is... 'Profound.' What a perfect reminder of how very precious time is. If you make the most of your time, each moment that turns into a memory will be a blessing to be able to cherish; not a sad reminder of how quickly time passes. -

That is a sad write, thats we need to always cherish each and everything we have. Like the birds singing in the trees, the crisp winter mornings, the colour's changing in the autumn! But some people don't appreciate it!!! Great write.
