Decay

Structured as in monologue;
simplistic values... minimized for effect
speaking of nothing;

Empty thoughts of bereavement;
chill bequest.. touches nerves
solitude and hunger... for compassion;

reflective hue.. of Mediterranean
summers bleached white..stark
comparison of hides beaten and soft;

oneness.. formed in cushioned
splendor...fragile..opaque;
Silence...broken ;

Mirrored paradox.. speaking
lies, telling of bye gone
happiness....of which there was none

    By gone happiness of which there was none? I thought everyone had some happiness a lot of people's are by gone to be sure, some of us are lucky enough to be constantly happy much to the dismay of others. Well, enough of my rambling; I enjoyed your poem very much.
