Coffee that's good
what can I say
I love to stop
there everyday
In the morning
it starts it right
coffee and a bagel
what a delight
And at lunchtime
with a carload
a box of timbits
in the back seat go
The mob in back
is quiet now
the drive thru girl
I thank and how!
After supper
to the hockey game
we stop once more
to get the same
a box of timbits
a coffee large
to the hockey
game we all charge
And when it all
is said and done
we know Timmy's
is number one
what can I say
I love to stop
there everyday
In the morning
it starts it right
coffee and a bagel
what a delight
And at lunchtime
with a carload
a box of timbits
in the back seat go
The mob in back
is quiet now
the drive thru girl
I thank and how!
After supper
to the hockey game
we stop once more
to get the same
a box of timbits
a coffee large
to the hockey
game we all charge
And when it all
is said and done
we know Timmy's
is number one

Hi ea!
A timbit is a real popular thing here in Canada. Its a small donut about the size of a walmut in all different flavors and styles of donut. Some are even filled with jam or cream. You can buy differnt amounts in a small box. Starting at about 20 for 2 dollars. Kids love them because you can get all different kinds in one box or choose what you like. So everyones happy and they are cheap! . I hope this helped.

Timbit?

Anytime lady A Timmy's drinker is always a friend of mine!
I would love to know what they put in that stuff! It must be amazing!
-
Timmy's is very addictive ...i swear they must put liquid crack or some sort of drug in their coffee. I used to drink one coffee a day and that was only upon waking...til i had a Timmy's - now it's...where are we going, to Timmy's??? On the way home...we can stop at Timmy's????
That Timmy is probably the biggest pusher in Canada - he's addicted us all..rrrrroll up the rim..yeah, right...he probably got that idea when he was rolling a joint.
Thanks for the giggles...i really enjoyed this one! You do it so well
Now let's go grab a coffee
-
A coffee fan! I knew you were a good woman!
Timmy's is the best!
-
Ok, now I really want some coffee.
-
You know babara that is kind of spooky! We have 3 Tim Hortons in my town also! One with a Wendy's also! And two on the main st of town at different ends! I would have thought we were from the same town except I'm in Ontario. I have relatives near Dgby though! Its a small world!
-
I constantly complain about the service at the local Tim Hortons (no, not the one at the mall, the other one...no, not the one with the Wendy's, the other one...yeah, the one downtown...
)...but I'm there usually every day, getting a large double-double and if the kids are with me, two sprinkled donuts...to which they only eat the frosting, and not the rest.
-
Lol... I'd die without Tim Hortons
This was very cute, the best of luck to you in the contest, dear

I'm assuming this is about Tim Horton's. I've never been to one, but I understand they have a very loyal following.
This is really cute. I love the rhyme scheme you have going on, and that it is short makes it fun to read. A really nice poem. I wish you luck in the contest, my friend. Hugs, Patricia -
Ah, if only I liked coffee. My mother, on the other hand, is addicted to it, no question. She goes hunting for anything with it, even flannel. Our entire basement could become a store just on flannel. Really quite saddening what she spends her time on. -shakes head sadly-
I was sort of bouncing along with this as I read it through, mornings seeming like a good thing because I can smell the freshly ground coffee beans, even though there aren't any around me at the moment. Very well done.
Sweetest of dreams to you! ~D~ -
Hmmm... is that all you want to see?
-
I wish! I've always wanted to see california!
-
No personal deliveries huh?
-
I don't think they deliver takeout coffee across North America! But I'll see what they say!
-
I don't need Ogreatbaldone to enlighten me... that's your job!
-
Wonder you will have to get Ogreatbaldone to enlighten you on the heavenly aspects of Timmy's! One of the great wonders of the world!
-
SexyAngel0418 timbits are like sedat\ives to kids! There must be something in them to keep them quiet!
I'm glad you liked it, it was a fun write!
-
Ah! Another simpsons fan! My son loves that show and so do I! Always a good laugh and homer is my favorite character!
