My knight, thou shall follow thine heart!
For I adore thee: my luscious devil,
Amidst thy bravery: a taste of chervil
From afar, my thoughts seldom apart,
Thou amongst sweet dreams from the start
As my eyes closed, such smell of pulvil,
Upon thy wholeness, and lips as of olivil
Bold silhouette as a lovely work of art.
Thou were betrothed, I cometh to rescue,
Feelings shouldst noth be taken for granted
For I do believe I belong to no one but…you!
Should thou have doubt, I shall be haunted,
Thy soul beseech no other for I am true
On the morrow, we shall not be parted.
Author notes
My first attempt of Petrarchan Sonnet.
Since I was inspired with this Italian Sonnet I came up with an Italian title too.

excellent!
Beautifully penned my friend!
This indeed a tender piece that speaks from your heart to the one you love.
He is truely a blessed man. -
The rhyme scheme faltered a bit at the end, but I certainly loved the words, and your immaculate grip of Olde English knocked me flat!

A soft and romantic Sonnet, I have never tried one and admire that you have. I need to check the dictionary for one word and that is good, I will learn something new. I hope you are well, blessing, sharon
