My sweet lord

Jesus, my sweet lord.
I have found him in prayer.
A repentance of my sins...
I let known into the church.
That he might make a home in Heaven for me.
One day...

I emerged into the water.
After such things the preacher did say...
In baptism with my lord.
He has washed me clean of my sins...
I praise his holy name.

I have become a new creature.
One that can ask for forgivness in my prayers.
I have become a Christian...
Now a life I give to him...
By attending church and living right.

Congratulations on both the fact you have been saved and the wonderful poem you wrote about it. We can only hope that your willingness to share this beautiful moment can help lead someone else to make the same decision. May God continue to bless you as you follow Jesus.

This is very direct and to the point as you express your views on Christianity. I am glad that you have found joy and peace with the Lord. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is the greatest feeling ever known I believe and then choosing the path to walk with Christ. Thank-you for entering the contest!
