A fine dark night in a lonely town,
By the window, a fair young maiden in a flowing gown.
Steps to the pane to view the scene,
Of a town so quiet and serene.
Mist pours from the clouds above,
She thought it could be a sign of love.
How she was wrong on that faithful night,
For the dawn begins of her blood plight.
The windows slammed open and mist poured inside,
And entered the being who never died.
Walking on the mist towards the fair lady,
As the room began to darken and the lights became shady.
Paralyzed with fear, her body refused to move,
The stranger’s intentions he would surely prove.
Desiring a bride in an eternal life,
Where the pain of hunger was no longer strife.
He extended his fangs and upon her thyroid,
Impaled her vein and her life became void.
Draining the blood with an icy breath,
Impregnated a parasite of vampiric death.
A decade of minutes passed,
Her resurrection was hastily fast.
Reborn brand new in a demon’s shell,
No longer doomed to the chiming death knell.
That man was another beast,
Searching for blood to continue his feast.
And she too became a monstrous fiend,
Her life, a vampire’s kiss had intervened.
Searching through town to end her pain,
Only at night, the day became her bane.
Her skin pale and fangs, a horrid sight.
Transformed to a creature of the night.
