To be a Christian is to be
kind and gentle,
merciful and forgiving,
alert and attentive,
loving and
joyful.
What we are everyday
is how we witness.
Where we place our priorities
is how we show the world we
belong to God's Kingdom.
By worshipping the Lord with
all our heart and mind
and by not leaning on our own understanding,
we show the world
that we are truly a blessed
and peculiar people.
Witness with your walk
and you and all you meet
will be blessed
and filled with hope.
To witness to a non-Christian you should
be kind and gentle,
mericiful and forgiving,
alert and attentive,
loving and
joyful.

excellent
Another wonderful poem with a direct message that is true. How we walk the walk is so important. What we show to the world is our testimony of what Jesus has done in our lives. The world looks at us under a magnifying glass so every step we make is so important. Beautiful write Joanne. Praise God!!! BRAVO!!!! -
This was a very simple and easy to understand instructions on how to witness in a lovely poetic form. With great advice I like to hear. I like to be gentle and kind. I don't think people would want to listen when we are harsh or condemning. I've seen a lot of that done and that is where the debates begin. Sorry it's taken me so long to comment. Thank-you for sharing this in the contest.

So true. Very well done. Thanks.

Love covers a multitude of sins..if people used love today; simply followed the example of Christ..really and honestly .. there would not be the multitude of problems we see in the world. Witnessing by mouth is of no earthly good if our example is not what we preach ..

This is very beutiful and to the point and I love it because you had said everything the Jesus Christ would do without question and I would rank this excellent piece of writing. -
This is a lovely piece, and does show a good example of how a Christian should be. Well done.

There's a very positive message and some good advice in this poem. Once I heard someone say "The greatest cause of aeithism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and deny him with their lifestyle. This is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable." (I think they were DC Talk) This poem echoes that sentiment in a wonderful way. Well done, I hope you do well in the contest

Joanne, You have done a really good job of sharing what it is to witness to people. You are so right that our lives are as important as our words. If anyone is not living right then they loose their ability to witness. Very nicely done. God Bless and many hugs, Penny

Excellent
Oh, Joanne, this is fantastic. It says it all: who we are and what we do is a witness of our master, either Christ or Lucifer. Would that more professing Christians get the point clearly. And, having said that, I expect this poem to arrive in my emailbox for TSaS NUTS! on 25 April.
Good luck in the contest! Love and hugs, B♥n
