My Heart

As you stood on it's fragile surface,
did you look down and see my pain?
When you took just a step past nervous,
why did the pieces fall like rain?

When you went inside its protection,
did you know that you went inside?
You came in, there was no rejection,
then you turned a corner to hide...

Was it fun inside my weakened heart?
Did you enjoy running away?
see now the surface is torn apart,
when the pieces fell down to stay...

As you stood on its fragile surface,
you said words i knew as true,
and walked away,
even though... my heart loves you...

    love is very scary,always the X in lifes factor,but you never know how to truly love until you been hurt by it,nicely written and very well done in showing the pain felt.
