Done for...

I don't want to live
I don't want to die
I just want to sit here
and watch my world go by.
Never made a single difference
and now I know it's true
I meant nothing to everybody
nothing to me and nothing to you.
I could lock myself in my room
and watch my walls close in
and give into this great temptation
that consumes me from within.
I knew it from the very start
I knew I couldn't cope
and now I find myself hanging here
my head within this rope.
It'll probably be a six month ordeal
but I guess I'll never know
to think that all it ever took
was a simple and decent hello.

    Oh, that last line is so SAD!!! But I LOVED this poem! It was so heartfelt, and it FLOWED like water, or liquid butter, or I dunno! But I loved how easy it was to read and how well every thought fit together. There's only one thing I would change, which is that the line "and give into this great temptation" feels wordy, but it can be easily remedied by changing it to "and give in to this temptation". Oh, and the "in" and "to" should be separate words. But what a lovely write! Amazingly super job! Wow.
