Scales glisten in the light
From moon or from sun
Body outstretched over clouds
My heart and his are one
For I love the creature

i love dragons!!!
i know it has never really been proved wether they exist or not, but i like to believe that they did, at the same time the tyranasaurus rex and other dinosaurs lived not sure if you're familiar with the game ffvii? but then there's this one dragon "summon" there, and it's called bahamut... i love it ^_^ wah, anyway, i'm going a little off, thank you so much for this poem

I think dragons are magnificent creatures, mostly portrayed as powerful and majestic. 'Scales glisten in the light' was my favourite line, I can just imagine looking up to the sky and seeing a dragon there (I have a very vivid imagination!) You have done a great job here in describing this creature, I enjoyed it.

to help avoid the man
For he knows how he can be
and about his killing plan
But if by chance he wanders in
to the place where he does lay
Then we can say our last farewell

cool...its about dragons...I think that dragons are one of the most alluring creature of all...they move thru the air with style and grace yet have the ability to wreck havic on the earth if they so choose...wonderful descriptions where used to paint a picture from your words.
