"Heaven's Light"
Every once in awhile, a light is sent from Heaven as a Star
That star gives of a glow of radiant beauty, inside and out.
God had you in His thoughts before you had thoughts of your own
He was molding you and knew all your parts
His gaze always upon you
Coaxing you, beckoning you towards a special purpose
A certain amount of FAITH is born into all of us
To some more than others
Yours is wine swelling that may burst forth from it's skin
Showering us in its sweetness, we are drunk with JOY
Your steps are directed in LOVE
The steps of a righteous woman are truly
Appointed by GOD, Chosen
The sun rises and sets on all God's creatures
But on you it lingers longer
Causing LIGHT to shine on those who are enveloped in darkness
You have scoured the world from the highest peaks
From the mountain you have also fallen
The CREATOR always reaching to you with His strong right arm
To the pedestal once again you are placed
A Mother is a woman to be honored
Not just by her own but by all
A Mother's struggle is unique in that it is at times thankless
The LOVE of a mother is tried and torn
Yours is able to maintain it's form
Even when stretched thin
Your touch, your smile, and gentle exhortation
Will not return void
Your burdens are seemingly taken willingly
The burdens of others you desire
With your simple acts of KINDNESS
You have altered many lives
Touching those within your sphere of influence
Scattered celebrations ABOVE
Applaud you as angels dance and sing
Those songs of JOY sung by souls whom you have lifted to God
These praises not surprising as they are for someone
That for us was truly...Heaven Scent!!!

I know I dont know you personally but I have read your bio and some of your work and I have a feel for who you are.This is a poem inspired by your thoughts as I have read them. This is a celebration for all loving mothers and people who just love people for who they are.Love is patient , love is kind, Godly love bears much fruit. Keep on planting seeds!!!

I can't tell you how you touched my heart and soul thos day with your words. Such words of light and hope I am abosrbed in, I am basking in at this moment. Yes, I have gone through many trials but, it is people like you and my sweet sisters who have also commented on your poem that are making my journey very worthwhile right now. This is a beautiful poem. It is so full of hope and love. Reading this poem made me feel better. LOL...and I am in the midst of my own midlife crisis. Heaven, this really does describe you so well. You bring joy to us, you are strong, and you are so loving and giving. What a tribute this poem is.

This is both very spiritual and very enchanting as well. The person this was written for is a sweet angelic soul who has suffered a great deal of heartache, and for you to write this poem for her was a wonderful act of kindness. I think that every word describes her to a tee, and there's not a single word going to waste. Indeed, God's light will glitter on her much longer because she's always trying to help others.
