Precious Holy Lamb of God,
It was you who bore the sin for me,
It was you who died to set me free.
You took upon yourself all my shame,
For all of my sins You took the blame.
Offering Yourself as a sacrifice,
Without which I was doomed to die twice.
There is a second death for the lost,
Even though for them You paid the cost.
They would not accept what you had done,
Nor, would they believe that You're God's Son.
You came as a spotless, perfect lamb,
You told us You are the great I AM.
Sacrificed, as a lamb, for our sin,
So that Heaven we can enter in.
But, some blinded eyes will never see,
Just how and why, these things had to be.
Until that day that it is too late,
When they are standing outside Hell's gate.
Lord, please help me to do all I can,
To spread the word of salvation's plan.
