That's pretty scary. Born from passion comes art. Very well written. I'm not Christian, but I do not bash the bible. Great, and scary poem.

    Score: 8.9

Thanks so much joanne. I really appreciate the comment. God is really doing some amazing stuff with me and he just continues to amaze me daily. Pray for me also. I am going to Leipzig, Germany on the 23rd to do a 2mo. long youth ministry internship. Pray that God will help me deal with the language barrier.

Much love and peace in Christ,
    Aaron

I have never been one for haiku, but yours is just so amazing! I absolutely love it! It is so short and so profound. There are volumes in you 3 lines. If only people could soften their hearts to truly see, boy would they be surprised and amazed at the love God gives us each and every moment of our lives. He never forgets us, even when we forget him.

True enough, I must say you've really driven the message of God's unconditional and undying love through, and you've done so in a few lines. That's quite a feat!
Well done, and best of luck with the contest

Thank you...perhaps the picture was too much...it's my sn and I wanted to make a statement. This was an entry for a "Bible Bashing" contest so I thought I could be a little more imposing than normal! Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

    Cool

Interesting Haiku. I dunno, it seems a bit much with the picture. I think the words can stand on their own, and I think that this is a very nice poem though. Well thought out and nicely done. Thank you for the nice read.

God offers us eternal life just to love Him and accept His suffering the cross just for us...this is a wonderful simple piece...a reminder of how simple it is to be forgiven.

    Excellent, Powerful

I must echo Vickie's words. This senyru is not only powerful but delivers volumes of truth in so few words. Excellent work here, Joanne. You realize this ultimately must appear in the TSaS NUTS! don't you?

This should be a winner but who knows what will come up in a Bible bashing contest. Thank you for standing up for our Lord in the face of such a negative connotation. God is smiling down upon you.

    Love and hugs, B♥nnieQ

Very powerful haiku. Isn't it amazing that God continues to love us and rains His mercy and grace down and man rejects it or refuses to acknowledge it. Sadly enough, one day they will know it and it'll be too late. ~vj
