I am a land,
for all to see,
I am the land of liberty
In my land,
my people are free,
a mixture of nations,
united under me,
many agree,
many disagree,
many don't see,
it is their right,
this land liberty
In my land,
my people,
have no bounds,
they travel this land,
on my solid ground,
invigorated by nature,
wherever it's found,
this land liberty,
freedoms abound
In my land,
there is democracy,
right and left easily found,
seldom mediocrity,
however the vote,
it's a victory,
for you and me,
this land liberty
My colors are of red,
white, and blue,
they are bright,
they are true,
my people display them,
give them their due,
the world over,
my colors,
represent you,
I am the land,
the whole world needs,
I am the land of liberty

I liked this Mac, yet I wondered if it really is the "land of liberty" or is it just a cultural phrase that has been passed down. The pioneers came to this land because they were so confined by the laws of their lands, and yet it would seem to me that those same confinements are coming more and more into play all over the world. Maybe I'm wrong as I don't have your country's perspective on this. Take care, your writing as great as always. Heather -
I like this. It is simple but effective. Good work!
