For such a short poem, you have wrapped up the sight and feeling of the almost impossible. I loved to actually feel the sky as a piece of velvet. You made two objects destructively colliding into a peaceful perception. Great write!

Now, this is a haiku if I ever did see one!! And a BEAUTIFUL one at that!! I really like this. Very simple, but still puts such a nice image into my head. Excellent work!
