I pray for the non-believers,
You know just who and where they are.
You know the lies that have them blind,
That Satan whispers to their mind.
You know the feelings in their heart,
Lord, I just don't know where to start,
To bring each name up before You.
It seems like more than I can do.
But, You already know each one,
Open their eyes up to your Son.
You gave us Jesus as the way,
Because for sins we had to pay.
Jesus, You came and took our place,
You saved us by amazing grace.
Please, have mercy on these, the lost,
They really do not know the cost.
They refuse to believe in Hell,
Or any truths we try to tell.
Soften their hearts and open their eyes,
To the devil and all his lies.
If, in any way You can use me,
To help the lost to finally see,
Lord, then through me show them your love,
Which You send to us from above.
I lift these souls now up to You,
And pray that You will save them too.
In Jesus Holy name I pray, Amen.
Author notes
I dedicate this to those in the most need of prayer. I would like to ask for each of you to join me in this prayer for those you know here who do not know the truth. I believe if we stand together we will see mighty things from God.

OH yes, it is so sad at how many have no clue of the Truth. We must continue to pray for all the lost sheep. For the Shepherd loves all of us the same. Thank you so much for entering the contest.

You know the more I study the more I wonder how I could have ever not believed with every once of my being. It is not some thing I believe it is something I know.
I do do not believe there is a God I KNOW there is a god. And I know he is righteous and just and that I could never live up to all he asks but He loves me so much He saved me through his Son!
this is not a belief this is something I know.
You have poured out your heart and as I read this I stpped backed up and prayed it with you. I added one or two names I hold particularily close here.
Thank you for this inspiration.

This is truly a beautiful prayer Penny. I am speechless right now and I am sure that everybody here had said what I was suppose to say. God bless you for your pure and caring heart.

Wow what a powerful poem and prayer. I had to ask a couple of my friends to read this because they are non-believers and I have been trying so hard to get the to believe now I have a prayer that I can say before i go to bed. Great Job this is great. I just wanted to cry knowing there is someone out there who cares enough to do this. And you werent afraid to say any of this that is great. I have been wanting to write a poem about God and I am thinking of things to sya and this really helped so thank you VERY much.

Hi, I really appreciate the comment. Thanks for reading. Of course I don't mind that you may not believe in God the exact way that I do. The thing is we can respect each others differences and still share our beleive in our higher power. It is just hard for me to understand how some people have no belief in anything or anyone that is responsible for all creation. That is just too hard to imagine that everything just happened.

Beautifully written- I appreciate the sentiment.
I find it difficult to understand those who have no spiritual beliefs whatsoever. Although I am no fan of organized religion and am not Christian, I do believe in God, and I can't imagine not believing in something. As you say on your author page, there is enough hate in the world already; it's always best to be hopeful. Without spirituality, where are we? Life is essentially meaningless without a higher purpose.
I hope you don't mind the commentary from someone who may not believe in your particular God, but is convinced that there is somebody up there. There's much more reason- and benefit- to believing in a higher power, than there is to living your life convinced that humanity and civilization is simply an accident. -
Penny, Dearest, this is a beautiful prayer. You have not only written a lovely poem, but you have also brought together the reasons one should believe. How can one not? I still haven't figured that one out.
I am pleased that you have shared this with all of us. It is indeed a worthy prayer for God to hear. Love and Hugs, Patricia -

Well, Sis, I just found a poem for next Monday's TSaS NUTS! So, I'd better see this awe-inspiring prayer in my emailbox sometime this week! This is incredibly and beautifully written from a heart for the lost: both those who only seem to believe and those who truly do not believe.
In full agreement, I join you in this prayer, asking our Lord's perfect will over all of humanity, especially those who are lost in whatsoever ways; for the glory and power and kingdom is His! Amen and amen!
Lots of love and hugs, SisB♥n

Amen! I really needed to hear this prayer right now, as i have been debating back and forth for several days now with someone who wanted me to prove God's existence and the more scripture I gave Him the more he refuted me, degrading even my personal because I consider the fact that I am alive a miracle from God. Finally I had to give up so while I pray this prayer with you and others will you please pray for this soul as well. He has been blinded by the lies of Satan that the world likes to feed the non-believers making our Lord look horrible and my heart is heavy with the fact that anyone would even consider Him to be anything but glorious. Thank-you for this prayer. It has added some light back into my♥

WOW This is so beautiful Penny. I am like the rest, I don't see how people can't believe. To me thats unnatural but I have been raised in a church all my life. I am also like my sister in the sense that I think you will be able to reach a lot of people through this poem. Nicely Done. Good Luck in the contest.

Aunt Penny, this is great; I don't believe and most everyone knows why, but if you don't I'll tell ya another time. I think that you really can reach out to those who need it the most. I know you have made me think a bit. I don't do anything for anyone yet it's obvious that just within the family people are praying for me. Thanks for sharing this with me. Best of luck in the contest.

Amen!
I don't understand how anyone can NOT believe. I understand, somewhat, how people can have a grudge against some Christians, or a certain church, but how can you not believe in God himself? This poem speaks to every Christian, and hopefully to non-Christians too.
Another well written, inspiring poem.
