Seems that these days every emotion has a pill to correct. Humans as a whole are over-medicated. you described the symptoms so well..a rollercoaster and kindness in a pill. Excellent word usage..awesome write and good luck in my contest!

pills are placebos to me, no matter the kind of pill it is, whatever effect I want to it to give me, that's the effect it's going to give me. but if I know it won't give me that effect, it's just a sugar pill, in the end.
sometimes the ways of drugs, of course that's probably why I stopped doing them. they just seemed less the placebo than usual. sweet termination, I guess.
