Can you see me?

Missing image
I live among the flowers--
Somewhere between the imagination of a child
and the belief that I really exist.

Can you feel the flutter of my wings?
Seemingly the soft breeze that kisses your cheek
as you venture into my domain.

Have no fear, I'm here to paint the flowers
the color of spring, to make you smile and share
tender vibrations with your heart.

I blend into the landscape with a kaleidoscope of colors.
Tread carefully as you walk the pretty garden paths,
you may step upon my tiny feet.

If you believe in me...Look carefully,
you may spot me shimmering in the early morning light,
kissing each petal with a giggle of delight.

    beautiful

Oh this is so sweet! It's very feminine and poetical, and I love the magical and mysterious tone in it. It almost makes me believe there are fairies... It's like an explosion of beauty. But a very tender explosion indeed.

    A genius's write

I love your fairy pieces, they just bring back to me this little tinge of wanting to fly and become a pixie and have magical powers.
I used to love pretending stuff like that.
A great piece, its like this little fairy sneaking into flowers and hiding... Watching children behind plants...
But as you said, you need more than eyes to see them - you need faith in them.
    Well done Sandi!

    Good morning Sonja
Thank you for your sweet thoughts, and yes, I am an amature painter..some of my work is used to illustrate my work here, if you'd like to take a look. A few of my best paintings ever are on the poems 'break of day' 'thanks daddy' and Winter's morn'.

    Have a wonderful day! Sandi

    beautiful

A beautiful piece.... You did such a great job in capturing the essense of spring in the colourful world of a child.... I really love the last line " Kissing each petal with a giggle of delight" it makes me feel cheerful just reading that ... a wonderful job!! Keep it up
