This tired life leads through unending strife
Discordant ideals and dull virtues
Plaguing thoughts pulsing through quivering life
Coveting everything without refuse
The lonely being looks up to the sky
And makes his own interpretation of it
The seeker cannot truly edify
Whose own beliefs he never did beget
A testament to fake divinity
Is this callous mortal heart I hold
The falseness in all things it can see
Beating slower, getting weak, growing cold
All the crux of human experience
Is to live out this self-same existence
