so small, so simple, so overwelming... this has the best punch to it.. you are so right, and I couldn't have said it any better ...
these words say so much, they say what no one ever thinks about...
great write, best of luck -
One line, and yet so true and deeply profound. I sometimes loathe the thought of love as it always appear I go for those who I know are going to hurt me through their vanity or dog-eat-dog ways, but because my heart is sore and longing, it will pursue anyone who shows even a light measure of kindness. Love is not free, of course--because we pay for it with tears, sorrow and heartbreak or smiles, fuzzy feelings and happiness. Either way...that doesn't exempt anyone for paying a price, no matter how small it may seem.
A fine example of "great things in small packages".
Many blessings,

Hmmm...Beautiful. So true. Everyone always says love is free but in fact it's not, as you proved here. Gripping, heartfelt and full of reality. Awesome. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.

Short, sweet and to the point. I am sitting here wondering what I can say about it.......like "my heart wasn't given it was stolen", or "you can not give something, that has to be won" but none of those stand up to the one liner you came up with. well done. and so true.

Profound words of wisdom
I haven't seen you around in a while and what lovely surprise to find these beautiful words of wisdom! Yes, so true...we have to open ourselves up and choose to be vulnerable; there is no other way. By giving away the heart, we display our generosity, the highest sense of development. Thank you - for these simple, but powerful and profound words. Best wishes to you!
