Maybe you or I were taken from each other before
but death can't break love
Even in death I shall be with my true sister
The river
and you

I accepted me
but you injured,
broke
I had to turn to the river to calm myself
Wash clean the crimson flowing
........Maybe someday.......
I will smile at you, knowing,
that I have found you
but never forget how much the river means to me
She is my sister, my guide, my flow
She was my lifeblood in these dark days
I need her as much as you
I must leave your soul's call for now
Maybe later...

I enjoyed the river metaphor. It speaks of what is always and will always in the face of seemingly permanent impermanence.
