I walked down the road of misery
Angry at the world
Trying to manifest
How everyone can be so cruel.
I'm not giving into
The never ending cruelty
I'll stand strong
With my head up high
I'll ignore
The demonic cold stares
People seem to give off
I'll simply smile
And pretend
I am in a state of oblivation
Of how they isolate me.
I'll stand in the shawdows
Of their lives
And make them wonder
Why I will not break
Why these stinging tears of death
Never fall out of place.
I will stand there please with myself
That they are no longer the controller.
