Jaxson

If a smile could cure the world of hate
It would be your smile

If a person could really get lost in someones eyes
They'd get lost in yours

You are only a year old
But it seems as if you have the wisdom of a man

You listen to what we all say
Like you really understand

Momma's pride and joy
Such a beautiful little boy

You're already growing up to be a man
Turning out better than I ever planned

I'll be here for you in all that you do
Jaxson, ALWAYS remember MOMMY LOVES YOU

Author notes

I wrote this for my youngest son, Jaxson.  This poem is different than the poems I wrote for D'Andre and Shaelynn, my other two children.  But if you know Jaxson, he is just "different". Not in abad way.  It just seems as if he has been here before.  Anyways, I really hope you like it.  Please let me know.

This fits my little man perfectly. He's everything you said and more. Too bad he didn't wait six more hours so he could have shared Memaw's birthday too. I love you all. Beautiful write, Punky.
