Soon it will blossom with Sun's warming light
Fragile flower of color, ever so bright
Spring's signs now are present and start to appear
Days getting longer at this time of year
Nature's transformation, though life it is giving
Time is so short for this flower to be living
Once only a seed, but today in its glory
Loving hands soon will pick, so continue this story
Thus, as we'll see at the end of its day
This blossom will soon be all tucked away
With its memory preserved for yet another look
As it is pressed in the pages of her favorite book

Hi Susan:
Always a pleasure to hear your comments, as they are encouragement to continue on with my writing. Pressing flowers is not seen like it used to be, but still alive. Thank you again and good luck on your next piece. Thank you for the applause on both. Bill -

I think pressing flowers is a somewhat lost tradition, but the idea of it is still there. I think maybe I have just found the inspiration for my next piece in a series I have been working on.
I love the message reflective mmod you have set. It has been apparent in much of what I have written of late as well.

I don't know if it is the music I am listening to, the nostalgic way I feel, or the poems I have been reading; but they are really blessing me tonight. This is so endearing to me. A fantastic read.
