Looking for strength in my Savior's arms,
looking for shelter from the stormy sea,
fill my heart sweet Jesus with your love,
let your voice sing out and set him free.
Be there to comfort in the darkness Jesus,
hear me calling out to cleanse his soul,
heal him Jesus of all his transgressions,
take his shattered life make it whole.
Give him knowledge and your wisdom,
teach him Jesus all there is to know,
help him to be righteous and good,
do not let Satan reach from Hell below.
Please listen Jesus as I pray to you,
and bring the Holy Spirit unto me,
take him, mold him, like a piece of clay,
let him feel as you set all his sins free.,
He needs your strength to defeat the devil,
he still lurks in places he can not see,
shine your light upon the that path,
the path that will take him to Thee.
Let him rejoice in the wonder of your love,
amaze him with the powers that you hold,
teach him Jesus, all the spoken words,
in the Bible, the greatest story ever told.

Oh Charles this was such a joy to write for your dad. He has been so nice to me . Plus he is your dad and I love you and I know how much it means to you to have your dad find Jesus in his heart and and how happy and proud it makes you feel. Thank You Sandy for praying for my father!! You have no idea what that means to me!! I know that Vickie thought it was a girl... lol That's funny
But I wish I could just reach out and hug you and never let you go. This prayer for my dad will be heard and will be answered. Do you know why?? Because God is already answering it!! My dad is already going to church now, trying his best to quit drinking And you and I have shared in that blessing with my dad I am glad you have got to meet my dad and talk to him and pray for him!! He is a wonderful man and I know I have a lot of faith in him. No one else in the family does, but I know I do I love you Sandy!! This truly means a lot to me!! God Bless You!!

Sandy, this is so heartfelt and beautifully written. I will stand in agreement with you for this prayer to be answered. God hears our prayers and I know if we pray according to His will that He will answer them. He is not willing that any should perish. Oh, Sandy, I just agree with you. I pray that the Lord would continue to send His laborers out to her and that her heart would be softened and the walls she's put up to resist will come tumbling down and the Lord would reveal what has been there waiting for her on the other side. For it is His will that all come to the saving knowledge of Him and we claim this for your family member in Jesus' name~amen! ~vj
