Listen very carefully
you hear it everywhere,
in the robin's song,
singing in the air.
Heard in the laughter,
as the children play,
so carefree and happy,
on this spring,time day.
The clap of thunder,
an echoing sound,
the rustling of leaves,
swirling all around.
April showers falling,
like crystal teardrops,
beads of condensation,
go plop, plop, plop.
The babbling brook,
is soothing to hear,
sounds of the season,
are music to my ears.
Bees make honey,
buzzing can be heard,
chirping in the trees,
sounds of baby bird.
The church bells ring,
time to stop and pray,
God created the beauty,
heard on this spring day

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
This is extraordinary! Keep up the good writing! -
Thank you for encouraging me. I am glad you like it. It wasn't that great but it was how I felt about spring and kept it simple for the childrens catagory. There is not enough poetry on here fpr parents to read to the younger children. So I didn't care if it was a great poem. Thank you for being encouraging. I love ya. Sandy

It seems I fall further behind. I was so happy, yesterday Jacob and Beth (who like each other) both asked me to adopt them and ne their AP mom. That made me feel great. So I did. This is a great poem which I liked a lot
I liked the description here and the sense of innocence, this was really good
Another thing which I enjoyed is the rhyme and natural imagery- and as always you wrote a poem with great spiritual passion, the Holy Spirit inspires you so well and I’m glad you share your gift with us
All the best,
God bless,
Pozo

Simple but effective Sandy.
Well done. -
Oh, Sandy! I haven't commented on your poems in forever, never the less read them (and for that i'm oh so very sorry. I've been extremely busy!) But what a great poem to start me off reading once again. You, as I have said a million times and will say a million more, are a very talented writer! I love spring time! All except the thunder storms, those tend to scare me just a tad =) Love ya, Sandy. Yet another fabulous write!
