I may be just a nobody
Invisible to your sea-green eyes
But I have feelings too my love
I'm not the fool you've been told about
Who toils behind the fortress walls
Sows seeds which fail to ever thrive
In rock-hard, sun-less soil.
I was once a handsome king
Leading armies onto battle
Until the day when all was lost
Betrayed by John, my elder brother
Imprisoned in this Saxon castle
My servants now bones and crimson dust
Now you are Queen and my brother King
My soul cries out in warning
Be careful love
Be careful.

Oh Richard the Lionhearted, please forgive John, for he was a foolish court jester in silken garb, jealous that he was given nothing when your father died...but I shall heed your warning....
hehehehe, thanks for bringing a very much loved story in history back into my mind, I enjoyed your personification so much I had to answer
Thanks for joining me and good luck!
